Congratulations!

3rd May 2012

Many congratulations go to our trio of Year 2 cyclists Elizabeth, Jessica and Sequoia who took part in and completed the cluster bike race held at St Georges School Dersingham. Despite a tough course and a very cold wind, Elizabeth and Jessica still managed a magnificent 2nd and 3rd place respectively. A big thank you also to the parents for supporting the children in representing their school. A most enjoyable event!... more...

Newts and Ducklings Book Buddies!

27th April 2012

Newts and Ducklings have joined forces for Book Buddy Friday! Each Duckling has been paired with a Newts book buddy who will support them in their development of reading. It was lovely to see the maturity, interest and support from the older children who were most impressed by Ducklings' mastery of phonics! This will be a regular Friday event and please take a look at the photos in our gallery.... more...

Vision Statement: “Together we explore, discover achieve and grow”

Parents, carers and staff will work together with the wider community to provide excellent inclusion for all in a stimulating, enriched environment. We will develop warm, positive relationships with open communication, nurturing the confidence and skills for individuals to achieve highly through life.

Welcome from the Head teacher

Ms Louise Jackson

We hope you like our vision statement, adopted by staff and governors in April 2010 to indicate the direction for our future school development. Our friendly, inclusive Infant school is situated in a large village on the West Norfolk coast. We believe it is important to work in partnership with you and your children to develop and build on their skills to create the best opportunities for their future. We will work hard to communicate your child’s achievement throughout school, discussing targets and plans to support their progress on a regular basis.

We are proud of our attractive facilities, including extensive outdoor space and a Nursery offering flexible provision, including some full day spaces, for our 3-4 year olds. We plan trips, visits and workshops every term to make learning fun and offer a good range of after school clubs including Eco Club, Street dance, ICT and Tang So Doo. Happiness and good behaviour are also high on our priorities and we offer good care and guidance from dedicated staff and governors. There are also many opportunities for you to come and help. So please come to visit us and see for yourselves what we can offer your children in our vibrant school.

Ms Louise Jackson

Yours Sincerely,
Ms Louise Jackson
